Sadly however... you decided to attack me instead.

Yes, no need for that.

You believe in 'A' and I believe in 'B', nothing wrong with that, is there?

You might try to convince me that 'A' is better as equally I will try to do with 'B'

But the second you tell me 'B' is ****, that I havent got a clue what I am talking about, and so on...well, that is where the line gets crossed.

Just wrote a rather long, detailed post about my personal experiences from Polish football grounds from many, many years ago, but I think I shall leave these details out..

Not Katowice by chance?

Now the intelligent response would be to ask me to quantify that.

Sadly however... you decided to attack me instead.

Isnt that the mentality many here are associating the 'scum' bikers with?

It wasnt an attack on you at all, you have read me wrong.

I was just stating what I believe to be fact.

If you do think it was an attack, I do apologize, im not the most articulate of people.

Very close though..wondering what teams were playing and where the hooligans were from?

Usually Wisla vs Cracovia derby.

But then Slask Wroclaw, Ruch Chorzow, Arka Gdynia czy Lech Poznan

Any of those are well know for their 'peaceful' approach ;)

It isnt something I would go into detail of on a public forum.

Suffice to say I did have to use violence to escape having by that time suffered multiple stab wounds, a slash to the face, lacerated hands from defending myself and shards of glass embedded in my feet.

Are you John McClane ?

I bet this thread goes on longer than the court case! Come on guys its time to put this to bed it looks like its turned in to who has the biggest scars! and most harrowing experience.

Tony.

Maybe he was not willing to blow his cover. Its not clear if he was on duty or out for the ride....Lots of possibilities.

Very interesting twist though.

Maybe he is undercover in the biker gang due to all the reports of them hijacking drivers of expensive cars for ransom.

My mistake, he was off duty and out for the ride.

Does that make this cop also a scum biker.

More good links, Grober.

This was interesting.....

"The length of time it’s taken to start throwing thug bikers in handcuffs has irritated some investigators, who fault prosecutors for what they characterize as the DA’s methodical, wait-for-felony-evidence approach".

lol... what?! :dk:

Sounds like the right way to investigate something, no? :dk:

Another interesting quote...

“You should slap them with the charges that you can prove, whether they’re lesser or more serious charges,” said one cop. “Later on, you can always upgrade or downgrade the charges.”

So why not apply the same approach to RR man?

It was quite clear that he mowed down bikes and bikers.
So why not bust him for reckless actions which caused harm until it can be proven that his actions were justified? :dk:

Another thing, is it just me or does it looklike the only flat tyre on the RR is the one that drove over the bikes and biker? :dk:

Rash.
You've done that one to death, you need to move on.

The Police obviously don't feel that arresting Lien is necessary as they see him as the victim and he is available to them, so doesn't need arresting.

Let the evidence come out to get a clearer picture of the full events.

Lol, relax Will :thumb:

I'm just commenting on the reports

You're right, over the course of the thread, I've said everything I've wanted to say on the events.

I, too, am interested in developments as they come to light - regardless of who they're in favour of.

That is, after all, what has fuelled this thread - the lack of a clear picture of the full events.

(Although I do find it amusing that when points are raised by someone who's views don't sit well with the "majority", attempts are made to hush them.)

Sergio Consuerga

When push comes to shove there are maybe still some guys who try to step up. Sergio Consuerga This guy should be applauded for his actions and perhaps preventing further tragedy. :thumb:

All along, police had been trying to find a man they believe may have saved Lien’s life. His picture was circulated around his Washington Heights neighborhood, CBS 2’s Jessica Schneider reported.

He’s since been identified as Sergio Consuegra and he spoke to CNN on Friday night. He said he was on his way to church when the Range Rover was surrounded by bikers.

“I stood between them and the man lying on the floor and I say to them, ‘That’s it. Let it go. Let it go, man. That’s it. It’s done.’ You know, don’t continue doing it. You’re going to kill the man,” Consuegra said.

Consuegra said the woman identified as Lien’s wife was hysterical.

“Yes, she started screaming and then we saw the baby,” he said. “That’s when we started seeing the baby inside the car with her, you know? And everybody started screaming ‘No, no! Not the lady! Not with the baby! Please don’t do that! I scream. too.”

Officials said at least five bikers began beating and even slashing the driver.

“Real big guys … and that’s when like I started thinking I got to do something because nobody is doing nothing, and they are going to kill this family,” Consuegra said. “That’s the moment when I turn around and went like this (he extends his arms) protecting the family and I said to myself I’m not going to move from here until they go.”
