On a recent visit to Germany a car cleaning company was using an air operated cleaning tool. The guy was cleaning a headlining & it looked a very good machine. I have found one thread on here from cplnoonoo in 2010, who mentions a Tornador. This seems to be the tool I was looking for. Searching forums & even detail world there is no mention of it. If its as good as the adverts why is the detailing guys here not using them.Or maybe they have a different name or brand. Anyone here have any advice or used one that can say if they are worth buying or not.
A quick Google & they are not cheap at around 85pounds so maybe they are not good value.

It really is a versatile tool and is great at cleaning all the little crevices in the dash etc and works great on fabrics.

I looked at purchasing one a while back (before my air compressor died) but you needed a really beefy air compressor to run it. Mine was a 24ltr tank with a 2hp motor which wasn't enough.

I forgot the exact requirements but I'm sure a Autosmart rep would tell you - or Detailed above.

Thank you both for your replies. I have watched the video demonstrations & it looks like the air pressure blasts the grime & dirt into the fabric & you only wipe off the residue on the surface. The opposite of sucking the dirt out of a fabric. But please correct me if I am wrong.
I see looking on Autogeek website, Pinnicle & Wolfgang also do a cheaper gun. The Tornador black is $200 & Pinnicle Wolfgang are $130. Any idea if they are as good as the Tornador black.
