Unbelievable and bizzare

I always give clever birds plenty of space. You never know what they're hiding and they may become dangerous if provoked.

So I am stationary in my work van, foot brake on, at red traffic lights. Young woman behind me in an Astra is also stationary, until she softly bumps me. No problem I thought, I have rear steps on my van so the chance of any damage is minimal and it was such a light bump I presumed her foot slipped off the clutch. So I get out to check-No damage to my van and no damage to her car. She stays in her car smiling at me, I nod to acknowledge all is ok. Get back into van and not ten seconds later, exactly the same thing happens. Mental woman! Didn't bother getting out of van this time. The lights change and I'm off-very slowly as lots of traffic, in the right hand lane (of two) to turn right at the next lights (100m up the road). My bumper car friend then drives on the other side of the road and cuts into me causing me to slam Vauxhall's finest brakes on, or have my front bumper removed. How the hell can she bump me twice and then cut in front? Surely she must have been p***ed or a crack head!! Bizzarre! My jaw remained dropped for about five mins afterwards.

Maybe she was after your body?..................or a date!!;) :D

The insurace companies are very wrong in thinking young women drivers are better then men.
There as equally as bad as each other, the insurace companies need to get back in touch with reality. :wallbash:
I'm a college student so I have experience in this.
For example an 17 year old girl driving an MG ZR, music blaring out of her stereo and she was too busy laughing and joking to pay attention to the road.
She driving along doing 40 in a 30 she pulls out to avoid a parked car and almost smashes into an OAP. Other girls can be good but is not all of them.
There needs to be a limit on HP a young driver an have in a car.
I was reading on another forum that a 20 year old driver wanted to sell his fiesta for a brand new Golf GTI, hes going to become a statistic very soon. :wallbash:
I will learn how to drive soon but I will not be so down right arrogant thinking I'm Lewis Hamilton.:wallbash::wallbash:

I have a 24 yr old son and an 21yr old daughter. Which is the "better" driver? the daughter. Who has 6 points? The daughter. Strange but true - Helen is a very spatially aware driver who knows where everything is - just a shame she hasn't worked out how to clock camera vans and drive within the speed limit.... Statistically, my son is the better driver but I know which of the two in whose car I prefer to be a passenger.

We can't really justify some of the rather sweeping statements above, but to be fair it is what most people of either (any?) gender think..... my son and daughter included

I think young women probably have 'more' accidents but most aren't reported/result in claims as they just 'Smile Sweetly' at the person they have hit and they get let off. If a boy had been driving when you got bumped you probably would have called police/claimed for damage(Even if it was just a 'sore neck' from the whiplash)...

I've got a robin in my garden like that ..... i never go near him when he's on the feeder .

Mine are a year older than yours... My son pays £2k+ for insurance, daughter £350. I know who I'd rather drive with:)

I'm assuming you would both rather be with your Son.....Girls/Women can't drive..It's not natural for them, if you want your hair or nails done, see a woman, you want to be driven you know what to do.

some brave posts here lol, as a youngster with friends who drive, i think as a skill it comes easier to men than women, however both genders have unsafe habbits, men tend to be better spatially aware but over confident with speed, the girls just dont seem to care.... follow too closely, dont watch the road etc etc
you do get good and bad drivers in each gender, and saying one is better than the other is a bad idea as both have dangerous habbits,

biting toenails??? jeebus... im pretty flexible but with a steering wheel in the way... how the devil do you do that

Dont bite your toe nails as they will then be to short to pick your nose properly:D

Then wipe them on the window so when you flick your fag out of the window you can wipe the boogers off on the way!

Anyway thats enough of my personal habits.
