Hi

I am looking for a pair of pioneer custom fit tweeters for the dash of a W202. Has anyone got a set they would like to sell or know where I can buy some?

Rarer than AMG sideskirts.

They do appear on eBay from time to time (once in 3 years).

Those tweeters are part of a good set of custom fit component speakers for the W202 made py Pioneer a few years back however theres alot more powerfull sets out there for todays standards. You should be able to hide just about any tweeter from a component system under the grill on the dash and after fitting a adaptor from autoleads you can fit the matching speaker in the door.

Yeah... but they look cool :D

Thats Koolvin's W202 he had a pair of them. Its a real shame that Pioneer no longer make custom fit speakers that are car make specific. They only make 2 that are for Citroen and Peugeot.

you have a standard key ignition? My c280 has the laser key!! I thought from 1999 and above they all came with laser keys. Unless someone can rectify my point:bannana:

Thats not my car. :p its Koolvins 1996 C180. - mine is a sport with White dials

One more thing, above the tweeter is a little black box with a red light. What is it? And what does it do?

Thats the early 'Approved By Mercedes-Benz' interior alarm motion sensor. On mine - (maybe yours aswell?) I have 2x trianglular sensors at the top of the 'B' Pillar that do the same only better :D

hmmmmm i saw it in my 1994 320E, and never knew what it was. Can't remember seeing it in my 2000 C250tdi or my 1999 C280. But i'll have a check and let you know.
