I had a problem a few times today where my Audio 20 unit started constantly skipping forward to next track as if I was holding down the >>| button. I could only stop it by removing the USB stick and re-inserting and then it was OK.

If it was a physical problem with the button, it would happen with the radio and bluetooth audio sources too?

Anyone else has this?

I had these when I dumped my iTunes created collection onto an SSD to connect via USB. Mine would identify a track then skip it and move to the next one and seemingly play at random
Most of my iTunes library was recorded in apple lossless which if you connect via an iPhone or hard wired usb via iPhone or iPod will decode before playing. If it is from a memory stick or hard drive then audio 20 can’t read the audio. Test it by loading up mp3’s and it should play those but not apple lossless. There is a list buried in the MB audio 20 manual of which file formats it can play

I've had the same USB stick and mp3 files for about 2 years so that hasn't changed.

Ahh, not what happened to me then at all! It still sounds like a problem reading the stick, Is it the same in both USB slots and can you try same tracks on a different stick?

Stick could be corrupted? I'd re-format and re-write !

Looks like you're right. I just tried it in my laptop and it will not read or reformat.

Strange that it has started to fail after 2 years, its a quality make - Lexar.

Cars are horrible environments. Big temperature range and lots of vibrations.
