Using EPC to find part numbers.

After reading of the wonders of MB's online EPC service I signed up last night.

I'm pretty much baffled as to how to find things. Ideally I'd like to be able to enter a part number & find all the updated part numbers for the same part to see what is compatible with what.

For instance, the original part number on my 2.3-16's fuel pump relay is 002 545 05 05. I'd like to be able to find out the part number for any FPR compatible with that.

Anybody on here use EPC & know how I can do that?

Press F11

As said, press F11 and then search in the "part without vehicle data" field. This will bring down a drop down list of baumusters (or engine numbers if it's an engine related part) that part fits.
