V Power Petrol Prices

Just looked on petrol prices app and our local Tesco is £1.439

Momentum 138.9

It’s been a while since I’ve seen 99-RON super unleaded for less less than £1.40

I've just paid the same (£138.9) for Momentum 99 today.
Local Shell V Power is IMO overpriced at £164.9 😵‍💫

Shell V Power 157.9

That’s €157.9 in Cyprus today.

£1.32 in good ol’ (or not so good) british pounds.

Make sure you fill up before the budget on Wednesday!
Rachel Thieves is sure to scrap the 5p a litre fuel duty discount and probably add more.
Fuel is possibly at it's cheapest price right now.

I’m sure the retailers will all be wise to this and will have already structured pricing to follow the expected buying patterns.

I put some petrol in the 911 the other day, 159.9p per litre at a normal Shell garage.

Don’t worry about the 5p and just fill up with Momentum 99 instead :thumb:

Will 5p/litre really make much difference to most people though? It’s literally a drop in the ocean - not that I advocate it but fuel is really cheap at the moment anyway?

I agree Will, 5 or 10p a litre won't make any difference to a Mercedes owner.
But if you have a car low on fuel, save a couple of £ and fill up before the budget.
I'd rather it in my pocket than in this governments!

£1.649, last week. Shell V-Power. In London.

A 5p a litre increase is less than 23p a gallon.

Even at say 20mpg and 10k miles PA it’s a less than £115/year (Mercedes V8 petrol owner)

If you drive a more economical car or less miles PA it’s really of no consequence - say £50 a year or something.

Even on my GL with a 100L tank I wouldn’t even save £5 if I filled up before the increase.

Fuel prices are an emotive subject, but I just don’t think in this situation it’s anything to worry about, that’s all :)

£0.00 per kWh, Mercedes-Benz World, Brooklands

Nice parking spaces too, right near the entrance :D

The only downside is you have to have an electric car to use that...
