V12 Plugs W140

Hi, Does anyone know how often the plugs should be changed on a W140 V12 ?

60K in the M112 V6

As Adam says it should be in the service booklet (if you have it of course).

Just looked at my service book and mine says 60k too ...

I have 3 times less plugs than you too !

80K for the E55 but I have just changed the ones in my SL600 (same engine as yours) @ 75K although they may have been changed prior to my ownership. Checked through the service book, makes no mention of plugs strangely!

it depends what type of plugs you have in it , ie platinum tip plugs or normal copper plugs , 40 k with copper 60k with platinum

Hello, looked in the back of my SLK manual, its shows three `600` engined models, they are all 60000 miles / 5 years, whichever comes sooner. Hope this helps, regards Damian.

The plugs should be changed at 60k in my V12 W140. Mine have just been done at 119k for the second time according to the service book.
