Valeting your car in Milton Keynes? Think twice before...

I have never let anyone wash any of my cars for the last 12+ years (apart from twice). I would rather they were dirty than take it anywhere that sold its services on price.

I get great satisfaction from doing it myself, when I want it, using the level of products I'm happy with. I agree with another poster - it doesn't take long provided you buy a good quality product.

I use Kenotek Wheel Cleaner Ultra, have done for 2 years, great stuff - effective, safe, economical, and good to watch working.

What wheel cleaner do you use Bruce?

I now use 'Smart Wheels' acid free wheel cleaner. This after I asked for recommendations on here. Dilute it down about 3 -1, spray or brush onto wheels, leave for a couple of minutes and wash off.

I have found it excellent. I now wax and seal my wheels which makes the entire process much easier and avoids getting that horrible baked on brake dust in the small awkward bits. I also do tend to be a bit **** about keeping them clean usually washing them whenever I get a chance (sad but true).
