Very nice C43

Nice but the price does seem a tad high... still its a great colour combi.

Simon

That ones been on before too and what a lovely Designo colour it is too.

for the mileage, history and apparent condition the price is quite good I think.

C43s probably aren't (generally) seen as particularly desirable at the moment ... add in a colour scheme that will instantly turn a good number of potential buyers away and I can understand why it's being advertised again.

Silver or black might not be your favourite colours, but most people would probably still consider one if the condition and price were both good. I wouldn't personally drive a metallic purple car with purple leather if you paid me!

+1

Have to say , i really like it :)

I love the colour combo, but it was up at the same price a year ago. It needs to come down a little IMO.

I agree...he should advertise it at 6K and expect to be haggled down to about 5.5K.

This was showing on the PistonHeads East Anglia stand at Kimbolton Classic car and country show this year. I had a chance to have a good look round, although didn't get the opportunity to speak to the owner.

It appeared in fantastic condition inside and out. There was no rust evident or any scratches or dents. The wheels need refurbishing, as the lacquer is flaking on the polished edge.
The interior looked fantastic, too

You can find a couple of photos of the C43 in my facebook albums from the day:

Very nice pictures Darren, thanks for sharing.

Looks amazing.

I'm sure if I wanted a v8 and had to convince my gf it was a good idea then choosing a purple one with black/purple interior could only help my cause!

Nothing is more boring than black or silver IMHO.

fantastic colour scheme and quite unique :)

I think it looks pretty amazing. What mpg could be expected?
The C43 is much like the CLK55 (208) for fuel economy IIRC, somewhere around 30 for motorway cruising, teens/bottom 20s for town/city driving and single digits for sillyness :) .

What a great example of a C43, if i could get insured on it without being ripped off, i'd buy it for 6k.

The consumption though... single digits.... the E55 gets single digits with almost 200 more bhp!

Does anyone else think those light up stainless sill strips look cheap and nasty?

Looke like a really nicely cared for car.

Dave!
