Nothing wrong with that , cars of this age have had several owners .....

I certainly wouldn't hesitate to buy a car i felt was 'right' regardless of 3 owners or 30 owners ......

Well, the 'chequered' history raises some questions, but if the condition is as described, (and it is very well specced, though not as highly as the seller thinks), then maybe £8k.

I'm most bothered by the fact the the tax and ticket have expired, which to me suggests less-than-obsessive care.

I reckon the best ones have stopped sliding. They won't start to go up for a couple of years yet, and the rougher ones will continue to fall for a bit.

It's never going to be like a E-type, where every example, even if derelict is worth saving; but the good examples, as they become rarer, will rise in stature.

This one ticks many of those boxes. It's a good colour combination (did I say that?!), it's well specced, the new engine (and the fact it's a 3.2) is a potential plus, and it seems to have plenty of history.

I'm still slightly troubled by the fact that I know I've seen it for sale somewhere recently. I definitely remember a close-up of the invoice for the new engine. Why didn't it sell? And if it did, why's it being sold again so quickly?
