I felt the steering wheel vibrate a few weeks ago when approaching motorway speeds so i took it MB and they said the front wheels need balancing so i have them done. It felt better but if you accelerate beyond motorway speeds on a private road the whole car shakes from 100 mph onwards. Any ideas what this vould be please

It could still be a balance issue, the wheel balancing you had done would be correct for the speeds you would normally drive on road. As you said gthe car only showed an imbalance coming up to motorway speeds but was presumably OK below that?

Take it back and tell them it stil lhas the problem, they may need to tweak a weight or the position of one or more or even balance the rears as well. Also it could be that you have a tyre slightly out of shape so get that checked. I am assuming that all 4 tyres match, are in good condition and are at the correct pressures?
