After the onslaught of criticism I received from dhard regarding my 'illegal' speeding on derestricted German Autobahn (vid here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iFcj81z_98c&list=UU-JHgxs79S7qXfE4-hgjjkw), I have completely changed my driving style to that of a local vicar.
No more will I at speed or make progress.
No more will I enjoy the sound of my car through tunnels.
No more will I flout the speed limits on derestricted Autobahn.
No, it's all about safety now. Wrap me up in cotton wool and hi viz jackets. I'm taking this to the extreme too. So concerned was I yesterday that my forthcoming journey would be in great peril, what with cooling temperatures and ageing rubber, that I even proactively warmed my tyres before a long journey. Dhard would be proud.
