I have a clip I want to but on my work website, it is in .VOB format what is the best (smallest size) format to put it online (Band Width). And also any advice on how to convert it. This is all new to me and I thought I would some members brains.

VOB is the video format most often associated with DVDs so usually is high quality and resolution (picture height X width x colour depth)
They are usually BIG files so if you want the kind of small window movie that you often get for movie clips on the net you will need to shrink the frame size. As for the format pick something that most people will have on their computer already, MPG, AVI or WMV/ASF will all work well but all have their pros & cons.

This site is great for info on digital video in general but especially conversion http://www.videohelp.com/convert

Suggest you have a good rummage through their wares before you start.
