Hi can you find spec for KV06FDS (P66RYP) I need to know which iPod kit was fitted as cable broken..

Really appreciate this, amazing service...hopefully I can get to bottom of iPod input issue to replace cable!

Not sure the datacard is going to assist but here it is anyway.

Edit......If you give Comandonline a call with your Vin# they may be able to assist.

Just registered because I've been searching absolutely everywhere and having no luck at all finding a VIN from a plate of a car i'm looking at buying. The autotrader advert is a bit sketchy with the prefilled details so want to check the proper spec myself!

Came across this thread and looking for some help.

Plate is YE07RJU

(I know, I know its a BMW, I'm sorry - it's either this or an ML320 if that's any consolation!)

This is a great forum, even if you don't have a Merc. I sold mine earlier this year but I'm still here everyday. Let's hope you stick around
 
I'm not sure to be quite honest if it's a good thing for the forum to just keep providing this service to new members?

Chances are we will only see them for this request then they will be off so my own preference now is to only supply the info. to established or at least active members (and not the ones that deal in cars :))
 
^^I have thought about this too. Obviously there are members who join for the info and probably won't come back. This is because it keeps coming up high in Google searches and current. The only plus side is that it gets more registrations for the site.

I don't mind helping anyone but don't really like the than you see you later' club. Perhaps if there was a sub-section for 30-posts only? This would include threads like this and classifieds etc. Just a thought.

The VIN will be on the car and the V5, why can't you just check both?
