VIN from Reg number needed

This seems to be the only place on the entire web to get VIN numbers, could I be cheeky and ask for RO12 BTU to be translated ( for the purpose of getting the history from the main dealer )

This is a porsche BTW but I've owned Mercs and been a member for some time

I don't think anyone has applied the 12 post rule as they are on a power trip. More that this forum is for Mercedes Enthusiasts and should be kept that way.

Getting requests from folks who only register to receive the info. then will simply vanish doesn't do the forum any good.

It's easy to see in the thread who can supply the info.
