VIN Location ???

I have a 2003 E200 and for the life of me I cannot find the VIN. I have looked at top shock mounts, door posts, windscreen, under carpet front passenger seat directly under first aid kit when seat all the way back. Can someone help me with this?

Your V5 shows the vin as well.

Your log book/registration document is the V5

Just checked windscreen again and I see a small "window" in the black about 2.5"x3/8" but there is no number in there, it is blank. I checked both sides of windscreen to be sure and that little window in only on passenger side.

Ahh but it is in the log book. Now just have to find it on the car to verify the vin is for this car.

Mmm strange. I wonder if the car has had a windscreen replacement a some time before your ownership? That "window" is where the vin# should be.

My E class also has a black sticker at the bottom of the drivers door frame that has the vin #

There is also a plate rivetted to the chassis above the radiator.
