My ViseeO connected to my iPhone 5C quickly and initially displayed all my contacts on the audio unit but has since not done that except when I make a call manually or receive one. All I get now after pressing the Tel button is "Processing" and then a return to the ViseeO display.
The car is a 2007 C180 Kompressor.

Any ideas anyone.

The longer version .....

A repost of what I said in another thread .....

I have the MB4 and I can't say I'm overly impressed.

When it works it's wonderful but "when" is the operative word.

There are four problems and I have trawled all oracles of knowledge trying to get them sorted but to no avail.

1. When connecting it regularly seems to lock up only half connected. The centre display shows the phone icon and a signal strength but the speedo display is blank - not "No Phone" or "Viseeo 2" just blank. When this happens and the phone rings only the handset rings but when I answer the call it's neither on the phone or on Bluetooth - the call is effectively trapped between the two. The only way to solve this is open the centre armrest and press the Sync button on the Viseeo module, this re-initialises everything and it connects properly.

2. The phone book download is utterly random. Sometimes it's there within a minute or so and sometimes I can drive for hours and the phone book doesn't download. No matter what I do it seems to want to sync the phone book every time it connects.

3. The Viseeo module is incredibly slow at reacting to a phone call. My phone can ring and go to the answering service before the Viseeo has decided there's a phone call.

4. When I switch off the car the Viseeo module remains powered for far too long so if I'm near the car the phone remains connected. I would have thought the system should know there's no active phone call and power down immediately.

All in all very unsatisfactory and very disappointing considering what it cost.

Ah, I see you are experiencing exactly the same randomness and length of time to answer a call. Wish me luck as I try to get my money back!

Update the unit. I have No problems

E class w211

Sent from my iPhone using MBClub UK

Well, I eventually managed to update the unit's software but it didn't resolve anything. ViseeO are "looking into it"!

Mine does not seem to like short journeys and will not reconnect following a short stop.

I wonder if an update might resolve this?

PS: I noticed that some guys here at MBClub are having the same problem than I, with the same car W209 NTG2 comand... maybe a comand related problem!?

We had one and finished in the finlike new, even sent it away for update but just became a brick.
