Vista update yesterday

Downloaded and installed an update yesterday. When I turned my PC on today, there were all sorts of problems, chief of which was Microsoft saying my Vista copy was not genuine when I went to the help pages.

FINALLY got back to a system restore and it seems OK at the moment

Did anyone else have this issue at all?

Anyone have any ideas what the problem was / is?

No problems here. I've just reinstalled Vista (new hard drive) and downloaded all the updates without any issues.

Try looking for new updates and select the 'custom' option (not express) to see what update it is trying to install. You can still choose not to go ahead with it.
