Vito 2014 auto lights/wipers kit

Hi all,
Just wondering if any of you knowing its possible to aftermarket fit a auto lights/ wipers kit to a new vito. Any advice would be greatly appreciated .

In a word yes, You need a new new screen to fit the rain sensor to, possibly new interior light which has some of the controls for it built in, various wiring harnesses and a new headlight switch with the AUTO function on it .Plus it will need coding

That's great thanks for your advice buddy . I see we are in the same trade lol. I'll contact zenman later today. Do you know it the parts are only sourced from mercedes directly? I was a audio and multimedia specialist for 10 years before I made the leap to the dark side. Should be cool with the install works . Many thanks again

Hi zenman,thanks for the advices hear your the wizzkid of this sort of thing. Here is the type of interior light fitted in the van. Any advice on sourcing the kit would be great. I have plans for my new 113 van so will be posting updates as we go lol

Ok cool, you have the right roof lining but need a control panel, sensor wiring coding and some trims and a mirror, the screen needs changing and the head lamp switch, it will work with the stock screen until you update the data card then change the screen next stone chip.
I can supply all you need.

Ok that sounds like a plan. What does the data card update about? What's the cost for the parts. Thanks for all your help with this buddy.

The data card is the spec from the factory, when you add extras each item has a factory code and at Mercedes is can be added, it does show as an extra but when you quote your reg number for parts etc the right ones will be found, so for instance if you changed your windscreen for auto lights type and did not up date the data card next time you need a screen the wrong type would be supplied.
Also it has data that modules in the van needs for items to work or even see and without SCN coding it will not work.
What condition is your screen, any chips? its not going to be cheap but well worth it, the overhead control is used, the rest all new.
