Vito 639 speaker upgrade

The MDF are the best as there dense and ideal.
You can go much bigger if you want better sounds, I had 16cm in my 120 vito, I will find some pictures.
If you want to keep it as stock as possible then you can try what is fitted in my Viano as it has factory E66 digital sounds and the speakers are much better quality with a weave cone not just paper.
I will see if I can find the part number so you can price them up at MB.

Many thanks; all help and advice appreciated.

Basically what I am trying to do is to maximise my spend without going to the lengths of separate subs/amps etc; that will come later when I get around to building a console for between the seats.
Just looking for a better sounding speaker (that doesn't sound tinny like the stock ones) that doesn't cost the earth and is an easy to do swap/fit with readily available parts.

I had an In Phase 10" Sub under the drivers seat in my Vito and kept the stock speakers. The sound was good! LINK.

Cost these up then
A639 827 14 60 Is the front pair and A639 827 14 60 is the rear pair and the factory sub A639 827 16 60

This is what is in mine and sounds fine bit I do have the factory amp and tweeters in the a post.
This is all from my vin as I have E66 sounds.

I will call the parts department and ask.
I have looked at Rainbow, Focal and Hertz speakers in size 13cm but I really have no clue, for example, if these Car Audio Equipment | Buy online at Car Audio Security or these Car Audio Equipment | Buy online at Car Audio Security would be okay but other than the 80-91db or greater you already mentioned, I have no clue if they would be enough of an improvement for the price or if I need to spend more. And do I want speakers or component speakers?

I am well out of my depth

Ok, time for me to upgrade the speakers. How do i find out if these speakers will fit, if i have the amp, and if I have the necessary cables under the front passenger seat for the sub...?

You can massively improve the sound in the vehicle without any amps or Mercedes speakers.

All you need is a decent set of Morel components at circa £150 and some dynamat. A set of collars are about £15.

We do these day in day out and along with a few 'tweaks' can make the vehicle sound significantly better.

Bump am looking to improve the sound in my W639 120 CDI dualiner I was looking at a kenwood KSC-SW11 as I have one in my 124 estate and it works brilliantly with rainbows in the Dash The Vito suffers the same
1 Road noise etc at Motorway speeds
2 Lack of Bass at Motorway speeds
3 Lack of treble again at motorway speeds
Round town it sounds OK
so what alfie says bout the dynamat sounds good will probably talk to him about options
