Vito preglow light problems !

Hi, I was wondering if any of you guys can help, here go's when i switch the ignition on the preglow light does NOT come on but as soon as i start the
engine then it comes on for about 30ish seconds then goes off ??

Any ideas anyone ?

ive read up on other threads but they all say their light comes on then go's
off then on again when the engine has started then off again

You may have a problem with more than one glow plug or the relay unit that controls them.

Test each glow plug from the connector on the relay unit. (looking under bonnet on right side)

Remove the connector (biggest one) and with a multi meter test the resistance by inserting one meter end into one of the terminals on the plug and the other meters end to a good earth. Compare all of the values and the faulty glow plug(s) will show up.

Make sure the engine is HOT before you replace them.
