This is what I have made for under the seat, 18mm MDF glued and painted in 2K gloss black.
Built to take a JL Audio 6W3 sub

That looks pretty smart! Can't visualise where it goes though? Got the battery under the passenger's seat in ours ... CD changer in the middle ... and the compartment with tools etc. under the driver's seat (I guess it's going there?).

Some more pictures, No front matt fitted and seat side covers also not fitted.
This job has been shelved for a while until I have the funds as other jobs have taken over.
Last bit's of the job are coming together now so will start again on the sounds later in the year.

I had to swap the seat box for one designed for a bulkhead, when it's finished you will not see it as the seat covers still fit with some modifications and it still looks factory fit.

Looks very good indeed and food for thought.

As you know, one of the jobs on my list is to install a sub, but the problem is where to put the thing.

Getting a bit further with the hi-fi installation.
I had to run the router around the front and repaint as it would not fit under the seat covers.

Covers will be fitted tomorrow and will show the finish job.

Just running a JLAudio C5 driver in this running of a Hertz HEd1 Amp with Hertz 165 HE components up front just of the NTG 2.5, I needed MDF shims in the doors and the biggest that I could get in there where the 165mm and that needed some door card trimming on the back.
I do need to Dynamat the doors but the difference is amazing.
All wired to the rear ready for a new Hertz HE4 amp.
Still need to get the JLaudio 6w-3-4 sub but I had an old C5 and that is fine for now.

Just finished the project, well almost! still driving the JL Audio C5 driver in there, sounds great, I will swap it for the 6w3-4 when I can get one.

Had to drill the side panel and found the ideal patten in the £1 shop, stainless sink waste cover!, works a treat.
I had to cut the rear cover as it's only for looks and will be fixed with polyurethane adhesive.
