l bought some 3m chrome strips plastic about 2 years now ,there peeling cracked and crap. lm looking at a UK site at some metal strips for around 40 pounds any good ? l dont want to invest in another junk product.

Just buy a genuine chrome grill, it has clips that hold the trims on, there not glued on.

Yup the genuine M-B chrome grille (which is a Viano part but is fitted as standard to some Vito editions) is not expensive and takes 2 minutes to fit.

Not sure about the current 'facelift' 639, but I think the same is true.

This eBay seller is the parts dept. of an M-B van/truck main dealer (S&B Commercials) ... they only supply genuine M-B parts and are very helpful. You get a normal M-B dealer invoice with everything you buy from them:

Why is the Vito grill less expensive than an ML grill.....madness

Would be nice if the same pricing applied to the ML grill.

I was amazed how cheap it was - I bought mine from the local main dealer in 2007 and it was about £55 then. Full set of mats (front & centre) was also cheap from the dealer ... just over £50.

The brushed stainless steel "Mercedes-Benz" sill plates were nearly £80 though
