I asked CIS today and got the same reply - changing the wheels would make it a "modified vehicle" ... which they would no longer cover.

i fitted 20 inch wheels think they are 8.5. its the tyres which make the difference ive found. i first had 245/35/20's on but they were too small. then i fitted 275/35/20 but the front were just a bit too big as the rubbed on inner plastic. changed them to 255/35/20.....just right. oh dont forget, these arnt cheap tyres. new ones are about 250 each! my next set are to be 285/35/20 on rear and sticking with 255/35/20 on front. hope this helps.
There aftermarket, I removed them yesterday and refitted with Stainless bolts and in a better position.
They where full of water! two 4mm holes in each sorted that out on the bottom.
Ah, I thought they might be aftermarket ones but hoped that MB had come up with a better solution than these.
If I could get new end caps I would be happy, but I doubt they exist.
didnt change a thing. i always carry a heavy load so it looks lower than the average vito. and as the wheels/tyres are slightly bigger they fill the arches better. i think the ride is better, but having just taken a chunk out of a tyre and rim by hitting a curb, ive now got to get them refurbed. only downside with big rims on work vans.
Hi, I am looking at replacing the current 16" wheels.
What is the largest I can install without having to replace springs etc..
Has anybody installed 19"x8.5s?
thanks
