Is it really invite only? There were some pretty standard daily drivers between the exotica! So I'm guessing it's not just what you drive to enable into this?

There is a thread on this in the driving forum, a few of us went earlier this month, and I've been to 5 or 6 VMAX events before that too with various cars.
In terms of your VMAX, you will have a job cracking 200mph unless you have 700+ bhp.
My 650bhp CL65 AMG 'only' done 193, and my 620bhp Ferrari 599 gets 193 all day long. I also took my CLK DTM which has 586bhp and that hit the limiter at 185mph, but would probably only get 187mph de-limited.
Either way it is good fun, but beware of the stone chips!
Keep an eye on the pistonheads forum for the next one, which will probably be in approx 3 to 4 months time.

he is a rubbish driver tho. He couldn't even get away from a 399bhp car once!!!! He had over 600bhp too!!!!!
I am avoiding this thread.....too much of a attraction and I really don't need to add more power to the Trollmobile......

It's an event I thoroughly enjoy, I've run until I've emptied my fuel tank last two times I've been.

^ how long does a tank last though? what sort of MPG are you getting on a track? way under 10mpg I guess....
Yes no better than 10mpg. At VMAX that lasts me the day pretty much. With a 60 litre tank brimmed at a petrol station within about 15 miles of the event, I managed to get back to a pretol station and put 58 litres in a 60 litre tank. I did 24 runs

Yep - I did the Vmax Glacier in November 2007 - great day and £163MPH :bannana:
Looking at your list you are only missing cams from the K4 package!

The date is for good reason not publicised on public forums. Keep an eye on the VMAX section on Piston Heads and when a new event is mentioned, get an email off to the organiser ASAP.
Yep I'm sold on having a go, I've never done Santa Pod or VMAX or anything like it in street car so it would be nice to experience, that said I do get out in the BRSCC Ford XR Challenge Series in my little escort whenever possible to race or track day !!
