Evening all,got a sticky throttle on my ml w164 it's getting really annoying ticking over high I keep having to pull the pedal up with my foot.any ideas any one? Thanks in advance

I am having the same problem, only when cold on mine though, once up to temperature it drives perfectly. Start up in a morning ticks over at 750-800 start drinking and you can feel it trying to drive itself, come to a junction I have to knock it into neutral and the revs are up in the 1100 - 1200 rpm, place my toe under throttle pedal and gently pull up it will drop to 900 ish. Sorry I can't help with yours, I am leaning towards the pedal on mine but at £150 it's on expensive guess.
Have had it plugged into two diagnosis machines 1-snapp-on 2- text both would let me into faults but no codes where stored and no warning lights are coming on.
Is this anything like what you are experiencing?

If you can get the correct ticvkover by physically lifting the pedal, it can only be a return spring issue.
Make some basic checks for unlubricated joints and swivels, carpet binding etc before you open your wallet.

I don't know if the return spring is internal to the Accelerator position sensor, but if it's broken or missing, it should be easy to cobble-together an effective return spring and save the wear on your Jimmy Choos....
