W123 V8 engine mounts

Dear all

I am currently putting a M117 V8 engine from an 84 W126 into my W123 station wagon.
Now it is time to get some bespoke engine mounts.
I read on several websites that there were some providers in UK.
Do you have any ideas who cool have some left or maybe some dimensions/measurements?

I think your best bet on this sort of a swap would be to contact this Mercedes Benze forum over in the USA .

Hi, this is something I am thinking about doing to my W123.
Have you worked out the wiring yet? I’ve heard that is the hardest part!
Someone in the Uk did get some custom engine mounts cast in aluminium but unfortunately they don’t have anymore.
I’ve read on another forum somewhere that you need to add 1” thickness to the left mount and 1/2” to the right mount.
