W124 220 Coupe - Front Wings

Afternoon Gents,

I'm hopefully returning to the world of MB, have seen the above car and it sounds all round pretty decent with the exception of the front wings.

How much would it be to replace the two wings? And should I buy the MB genuine ones or the aftermarket ones?

Genuine MB always look and fit better but cost a lot more than pattern parts. In my opinion worth the extra but make sure they are thoroughly rust protected. They are allegedly quite straightforward to fit so long as the inner wing/mounts are not rotten aswell.

Always get the genuine article. After discount they are around £192 each incl VAT and in primer. Allow another couple of quid for any broken fasteners for the cladding.

Fitting is straightforward but put a thick card spacer at base of windscreen pillar before nipping up.

I bought 2 genuine items from Mercedes for £140 + vat. These had been in stock for some time and the parts manager let me have them at cost.
