Hi All

I'm wondering if anyone has any 0-60 figures for a 1991/2 300d saloon with automatic gearbox?

I don't expect it to be a rocket, but my current 1.6 rover auto feels a bit pathetic, especially going up hills. I imagine that the 300d feels a bit more unstoppable! Would I be right?

As an aside, should a 300d of this age have front wheel arch liners? Is the common rust problem due to having no liner?

cheers

Rich

You could measure it in glacial time ...

I expect if you have to ask, it's the wrong car :o

16 seconds to 60! Wow! I can't even imagine acceleration that slow - actually, can you really call it acceleration? :D

I'm getting the message!

I'll start a different thread

About limited edition Austin Metros? ;)

The answer was in the link in post 4, btw, but it depends which particular model you're referring to:

0-100km/h times
3.0 12v D 109PS: 13.7s
3.0 12v D 113PS: 15.0-16.4s
3.0 24v D 136PS: 12.8-13.8s
3.0 24v TD 143PS: 10.9s
3.0 24v TD 147PS: 10.9-12.8s

I doubt its what the cars following me call it either.. :D

Also, when setting off from cold you can double those figures... :D:D
