talk about wishfull thinking, looking in excess of £3500. i think its too steep.

by the way i know this car as it was last sold on ebay about a year ago i think by the claimed disabled owner. was a nice looker with grey leathers and black centred amg wheels but no aircon.

Interesting car I have to admit. What worries me a little is the lack of REAL photos in his add. I seem to recal those pics in a publication somewhere

The photos are from an AMG brochure from the 80's.

The car itself sounds very similar to one that was on e-bay about a year ago and was for sale in Dorset....I wonder if this is the same one and its got up North to Scarborough. I went to have a look at the Dorset car, which also had hand controls for throttle etc.

At the time it's head gasket was on its last legs as the block was wet with oil and coolant.

Bodywork was very good and it had a decent bodykit on it.

I made an offer on that car, but got messed about badly by the seller so I gave up.
