Found this very detailed thread on the restoration of a w124 300TE on another forum. 
More pictures than you can shake a stick at. Documentation is patchy so interpreting what you are looking at can sometimes be difficult but a huge amount of visual info.
Some very good links within the thread to Sportline suspension including data on the uprated steering box ratios I have never seen before.

However if you own a W124 and have a couple of hours to spare well worth a look!
