W124 aftermarket AMG front bumper fitting

Hello All

I would greatly appreciate some advice. I have a 1993 W124 300D which has what looks like a factory fitted AMG kit with the exception of the standard front bumper. I have a replica AMG front bumper which is basically just the outer skin. I need some advice on how to go about fixing this. I realise the fittings from my old bumper will have to be transferred over.

Doe anyone have experience of having done this? I have tried a couple of body shops but they will not take on the job.

I have the same bumper on my estate.

That doesnt look much like the original... as its fibre glass it will take some fettling to fit and I can understand why some wouldnt take it on.

Had the same problem with my CE, no body shop wanted to touch it. I did find a guy however & he did do a good job for not a lot of money. If you're close by to Nottingham, I can pass you on his details.

Hi Skhan. I'm in the midlands so Nottingham would be perfect. If you could pass on the details that would be great!

Don't feel like driving the car the way it looks at the moment, need to get if finished off.
