Hi all, the old merc is going into the garage in the morning with a terrible squeaking noise from the NSF I had thought it was a dry bushing but after some lubrication it still squeaks......reading some posts it sounds like it may be the ball joints...................

Can anyone advise as it squeaks if you push down on the wing and turn the wheel at slow speeds, but all quiet at normal speed 30+

I've been quoted £192.00 inc.vat for both sides supplied and fitted.

Cheers
Paul

Yep, sounds like ball joints.

Price is reasonable given that doing them yourself without the correct tools is not for the faint hearted.

Hi all, just to let you know that the old Merc is now squeak free :)
It was the ball joints that were gubbed
Thanks again to the forum.

Paul
