1995 E220 Estate (W124)
My 1995 E220 estate had a boot lid that used a motor to pull the lock tight when shutting the boot. This has now stopped working.

Would anyone know how I can check if the motor has blown or does anyone know which fuse relates to this motor?

If anyone has a diagram explaining the W124 fuse box, that would be very useful.

Cheers
Dave

There are a couple of microswitches in there which detect the position of the lock and actuate the motor .

Unfortunately , this is a very common problem , which is caused by water ingress . I have solved it in the past on both my estate cars by buying a secondhand unit from a breakers - remember to change over your lock barrel . I never priced it but the assembly looks as if it would be horrendously expensive new . It is quite an easy job to swap over .

£688.85!

But a used one should cost OP no more than £20, there are plenty of 124 estates at the breakers.
