w124 cabrio window issue

guys, some advice if possible.

w124 NSR window is stuck open half way.

the window has not been working for some time, and for some reason, it worked last nite, and then is stuck half open.

any pointers on this?

it worked effortlessly when it opened, but now is dead.

I still hear the click sound of the switch module under the rear seat, but that is as far as it goes in terms of life..

i dont think it is the motor though, as mentioned, it worked totally fine

From inside the car, give the approximate location of the motor a good thump while at the same time operating the up side of the switch…if that doesn’t work, try another thump but press the down side of the switch… then the up side again.

Guys, i still need help with this.

the update is, that when u press the window buttons, no movement occurs on any windows except drivers front..

however, on every button, u hear the switch module located under the rear bench click, however there is no life to the window.

but as mentioned earlier, the window movement before was totally fine, and it went down half way, perfectly, except now wont move at all.. thus it is stuck open

Please advise on any experiences or ideas.

i have thumped the panel and the control box, nothing.

all fuses seem ok, thanks
