Guys,

Any initial thoughts on potential fault finding sequence on a automatic sunroof? WAS fine, opened up, stopped. I know it was silly, but i had to manually pull it in place as an interim solution.

?????

Thanks

Is it both tilt and slide that dont work? Check the fuse first. The motor will be in the boot by one of the wheelarches. On the estate its on the nearside - not sure on the coupe. There is a white knob on the motor to allow you to close the roof manually when the electrics fail. If the motor is running but the roof does not move then the cable may have come adrift. Ours jammed when a tiny rubber grommet split and droppped in the runner. If its not something obvious then get a sunroof expert to look at it. The guy who did ours said they are much easier to work on than most people would have you belive but you need to be certain of what you are doing.

Nothing works mate, although it does sound like its 'trying'. Do you know where I can locate fuse?

Will also investigate at the motor, sounds like I need to get into the boot to locate.

Thanks!

I think it maybe fuse number 1 but one of the chaps on here maybe able to confirm. In addition, it maybe worth checking/replacing all of the fuses as they're pretty cheap.

+1 for changing all the fuses. They may look ok but they do corrode and fail whilst still looking fine. I think ours cost less than a fiver for the whole lot.

presumable under the C pillar passenger side and then under the headlining?
