W124 E200 ABS light

Hi all

Recently purchased a 1994 E200 W124. The car starts, drives and stops fine but the ABS light is on. Any ideas what I should check or what it could be? The brake warning light was flashing also so I changed the pads and discs.

On that year it will plug into diagnostics so you need someone with a star machine.

Probably just one of the wheel sensors gone. Get it plugged in and it should tell you.

Possibly the brake light switch or the OVP relay [ supplies the ABS control unit with 12v] as has been said -----diagnostics should tell you
