Good to hear about the SL,did you manage to find the jacking point covers?

Surely did. They were about £300 (new aftermarket from Germany - nearer £400 now I should think) for four little bits of unpainted plastic . The jacking point covers for a standard R129 are less than half the price.

It's the 'AMG' name (the SL has an AMG body kit). A front number plate mount for a W211 E320 is £35, the same for an AMG (almost identical; just a little more plastic) is £125!

For almost five grand I'd have expected the hirshmann aerial to have retracted properly. The replacement antennas (not the whole unit) hardly break the bank.
