People have recently been saying W124 prices are a bit all over the place

Is this evidence of that? It looks promising, though I'm not sure why the rear of the car looks like its suspension is a bit too low?

Hope it goes to a good home anyway.

certainly a good price but always be wary of sellers who cant be bothered to vac the carpets before taking pics..

Couldn't agree more re the carpets etc.....very cheap for a 320 Cabrio.....although I'm not convinced its one of the 89 Sportlines made.

Due to the price I would run an HPI on the car.....just a gut feeling, but it would not surprise me if its had a shunt at some stage.

I would have thought a genuine Sportline would have had the exterior 'sportline' badges on the front wings above the side repeaters?...I could be wrong though!

The back does seem just a touch lower, car would benefit from period AMG alloys & not these later ones,IMO....

steering wheel and gear knob look sportline, rear suspension is a relatively cheap fix if its just springs - just had mine done by Mr Walker, and my overmats look like that when its wet out... need to change them

be interesting to see what it fetches. My neighbour has a sportline E320 cab which has been sat out of use for the last 6 months... keep meaning to ask him about it.

Sportline badges are not UK spec for a sportline pack. In other markets, ie USA, it was.

Its a high spec car, and yes it does have a sports chassis

My W201 has those badges and is UK spec.

I think you can still get them from the dealers, they probably won't have them in stock, will have to be ordered in, but no more than 30 quid for the pair I think, my mate bought some a couple of years ago for this 190E....

Or, for dirt cheap off German eBay
