Hi Folks,
This is my first post to this forum and sorry it's a boring technical question.
i recently bought a MBTex faux leather interior for my 1992 250D from a gentleman on e-buy to replace the ragged fabric interior. The new seats are electric, came with the two wiring looms and the control switches fit the door panels.
The seat controls are of the non memory type.
Questions:
Where will i find the 12V DC supply which comes from the fuse box ?
Which earth posts should i use for the front seat wiring ?
Both seats work, but the drivers seat base controls are reversed - i.e. front and rear up is down, forwards is backwards &c. Does anybody have a wiring diagram for the seat/seat control connection ?
All the motors and switches work when installed and running from a bench power supply. The two +ve supply wires to each seat are red/yellow stripe and red/white stripe. Should one be constant supply and one switched on with ignition or should both be switched on with ignition ?
Thank you for your help,
Neil xx.
