Hi there - I'm new to the forum but have been looking at this site over the years for bits and pieces...

I am soon to start running a nice W124 Estate and I am keen to tweak the look of the standard car. Wheels are pretty straightforward in their way - I just need to make sure they are compatible and there is plenty to choose from (I am liking the Hammer 17" aero wheel style). But the key question for me getting the car right is sourcing as subtle a set of body mods as possible... Maybe a spoiler somewhere, maybe a side skirt ...

Can any folks here guide me to a particular combination or supplier? Pictures and links might help...

Thanks in advance folks

A nice W124 estate doesn't need a spoiler or a side skirt.

Leave her as she is - the old girl will thank you for it !

Simple clean elegance looks best when not messed with!
Concentrate on finding some wheels that are in keeping and the tyres not too low a profile and you wont go wrong!

If you can find an AMG kit then go for it. Otherwise leave well alone.

I agree with the OP, a kitted S124 can look great, like Jays above, are any kits made for them?

I'm just awakening this thread again. But not because of body kits although I would like one if they were freely available and much cheaper...

I'm actually keen to know what wheels those are in the picture (thanks to the others who have contributed here). I've just put some 17" AMG aero wheels on my estate and they are poking themselves out too far. They're an ET28 on a standard E280 ... They almost look right but are an inch further out than I expected. Hmmm.

Any ideas other than a lecture about sticking to original wheels?

My car is a mint low mileage white estate which will end up with a set of black wheels and some classy business livery for my cycle shop... That's why I'm tweaking it: am after a sporting period team car look. I will share pictures soon when it's done.

Thanks in advance...

In fact Jay, can you tell me which wheels/tyres these are. They are fine.

Thanks

The alloys on Jay`s car are the same AeroI like yours, also with 28 offset. As ^

AMG wing spacer kit? Hmmm ... sounds like I need to do some homework. Don't know what one of those is (yet).

Thanks all.
