Hi all members,
For some weeks now and the car kick down isn't working,I have to put the pedel to the metal (as they say) to accelerate and still not as before.
At first I thought some vacuum leak in the gear box,but after some checks I discovered the kick down cable is broken.
I went to the local dealer to buy a new one,but it is not there and I have to wait for weeks to order,I went to second hand spare parts (imported parts),they asked me for the old one to get the same part.
Is it easy to uninstall it and then install the new one?
Are there any adjustments for the cable (as tuning or so) must be made after installation?
Thanks all

You will need to drain gearbox, remove sump pan .Cable is attached onto valvebody which can be abit difficult. As for adjustments adjust thottle cable first then the gearbox cable will have two pointers that line up.
