W124 lowered

Is self level still working ?

How did you achieve the new stance ?

You centre caps are missing.

Car looks in good cosmetic condition.

Looks sweet :)

You need some of these...

OP car looks v fine to me.

My E280 estate's body is 40mm closer to the ground since about ten days ago. New springs fitted and re-levelled rear suspension. Must say it looks a bit less perched on its wheels than standard. Am very happy with it ... Few more tweaks to get the car sorted.

Thanks for this ^^^.

Mine seems to have descended in a perpendicular manner... All seems quite square to itself and the world. It drives identically to before (except the grating sound of the broken spring has gone away). I had planned this mod at some point soon but my hand was forced by said spring failure.

Paint detailing (chips, small blemishes, and paint restoration/polishing) and under bonnet to be done next before I have my business graphics put on it... Then it's time to fix the audio...

@USD$84 you might find these a cheaper option than replacing rear tyres. From the photo I'm picking approx 3 1/2 degrees of rear camber....??

How did you achieve that ? what springs did you use ?

On mine it was H&R springs - sourced from Germany by my local MB independent. The whole thing cost just over £500 I think... Labour and springs.

It's not so low to look rude - it's just tighter to its own wheels and to the ground...

I will sort some pictures soon - that might be once I've tweaked the paint though..,
