W124 Rear Blind

Wonder why you ask?

No idea but am I correct in thinking the saloon and coupe ones are different? So may pay you to check exactly what car the one you may get came out of.

Only place where i have seen them for sale brand new with the loom is Ebay Germany however you will need to change the rear parcel shelf.

I was thinking of getting one for my saloon, just wanted a rough idea as I have never seen one for sale?
As said above:Check on ebay.de as they come up sometimes. They cost over 1k at mercedes :thumb:

Ok, deep breath! I have found one it comes with a free car :thumb:

Found a 1994 E300D for sale, mega miles but has loads of bits I need for my 124 including a fully working rear blind!!!!

Should I buy it?? :bannana:

Maybe i`m late for this reply, cos i`ve just read that you`ve bought the other car.
Just to let you know that you don`t need the shelf, there is a line on your car and all you have to do is cut.The last time i`ve seen one on ebay.de,it was a brand new one and it was sold for 176euro.

i beleive the saloon and coupe blinds have different heights due to the rear window. i looked at getting one for my coupe to keep my 13month son out of the sun when sat in the back. in the end I use our diesel passat (with blinds) and left the coupe alone. the costs and effort to install were off putting for me

im thinking of getting one of these as a compromise for my coupe, they are cheap as well!

Roller Blinds

cant seem to be decide on the size, since the shelfs slighly raised at the rear ( i think the raised areas is where the oem blind fits in).

anyone know the width of the oem one?

can someone with an OEM blind ,please list the width?
