W124 rear pillar trim

Hi folks

Does any know how to remove the rear pillar interior trim on a w124 coupe (C pillar if it was a saloon). It's become brittle with age so don't want to do any forcing. That's how I damaged the speaker cover.

Does any know how to remove the rear pillar interior trim on a w124 coupe (C pillar if it was a saloon). It's become brittle with age so don't want to do any forcing. That's how I damaged the speaker cover.

I've never removed that so my only advice is to wait for a hot, sunny day and wait for the car to bake for a while so as to soften brittle old plastic before getting too bold.

This is my policy on door cards, seatbelt presenter surrounds and all the other trim jobs I've done.
