Hi, im new to this site, but advised by my neighbour to get intouch.

I have a 1994 w124 coupe.

My car was broken into and dash ripped out with radio, heater controls, switches, gear selector the works.

it is a real mess and i can not go down the insurance route.. as it will really cripple my N.C.D.

I have acquired the missing dash parts and also, for the cables at the back, i need to know what all the coloured wires do etc...

the car had some 4 or 5 switches at the top row, the non-climate control air condition unit with heater dials, and a becker radio.

The wires for the heater were severed and i know that a cable block goes into the back of the air con unit (Bosch) but i need to know what each of the 21 pins at the back of the heater control unit do, and what colour wire goes where...

the switches on the top row were rear lights, hazard, an alarm blank thing, and some others i cant think about at the moment.

do you have any diagrams or a source of diagrams for the dash wiring. Mercedes said to try service-and-parts.net through Wis net, but i can not access this service, but if anyone can help me, it would be appreciated.

for the wiring bunch that went into the back of my Bosch unit, there new unit as stated has 3 colums and 7 rows of pins (total 21 coming out)

what does each one do and what colour should go to each pin?

thank you in advance

Welcome! I can't help you, just wanted to say hello, and good luck.

I think your best bet is to get another dashboard wiring loom/looms from a car of the same year and similar spec. If you quote your chassis number to your MB dealer they should be able to help with part nos. Take a look at the Russian parts site for some clues. http://www.detali.ru/cat/oem_mb0.asp?TP=1 There is no easy or cheap fix for this I am sorry to say. The saloons and estates of the same age/spec should be the same if you can locate a donor car. A digital camera can be a great help if you want to document a strip down for reference.
