W140 wing mirrors

Hi i have a 99 w140 s320, the drivers side mirror just went 'floppy' gew days back. Its still in its hinges but just moves about. Looks like the metal frame has broken inside. My mirrors are heated & have the memory function. Just wanted to ask will the mirrors off an w210 e class fit? Ie are they the same? I just need the mechanism

Have you tried to close and then open the mirrors with the button.
