W163 2002 ML Cargo divider

Hiya - Noob here!

Just picked up a 2002 ML with 68,000 on the clock. Now need a load divider for the cargo area. Does anyone know of a manufacturer? I would like it to be steel mesh and adjustable. Kinda like a dog guard aginst the rear seats and a divider for the luggage are to seperate off our dog!

These are on flea bay all the time, you can either get a favric one (that is VERY strong) and fits either benid the grab handles at the rear or if you have the back seats down it fits behind the drive / passenger. They go for around £20 - £30.


In metal then it will be the dog guard again these pop up on ebay.

It is the luggage divider that seem to be the problem - buggered if I can find one that is integrated!

Dont forget there are two types of dog guard for the W163.
One fits the early model, and one the facelift, they are not interchangable.

I fitted a new shape luggage cover (will ot work with the 6th and 7th seat in place). I'm not paying £200 or so for the Merc one for a flimsy blind. Then got fed up bidding on W163 ones (our shape) so found a W164 one for £25. I've painted the wood now so you would hardly know its an add on, does the job
