my new 1989 190e didn't get to me before loosing its radio. Is the aperture a standard single din?

Would a more modern becker audio 10 unit fit?

Yes an A10 or any standard after market will fit.

I have an Audio 10 radio/cassette for sale. Fully working, with security code. Sounds lovely and looks just right in a 190E as at night the colour of the display is a perfect match for the car's instruments.

£50 + postage at cost if you're interested.

thanks for the offer. I picked up a boggo pioneer unit today, and plumbed it in. To my delight the electric aerial functions perfectly.

If I keep the car longterm, I will source an original, and put the pioneer in my morgan (the unit in there has got wet a few too many times and doesn't work very well - not that I can really here it whilst driving!)
